AWANA is a ministry designed to disciple children. The Awana-r-ram comes from the Bible in 2 Timothy 2:15, which said: ‘Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed:’

The 2022-2023 AWANA year runs on Wednesdays Nights from September 7, 2022 through May, 10 2023.

What ages are involved?

Cubbies – for boys and girls ages 4 & 5

Preschoolers can hardly wait for their next Cubbies club meeting. Whether it’s the fun puppets, the exciting games or all their “Cubbies friends,” they simply love it. At Story Time each week, preschoolers learn about God – the greatness of His love and His Word – and about His Son, Jesus Christ, the promised Savior. Non-competitive games build excitement and reinforce Story Time lesson themes. Cubbies helps you lead your child to God early so she will respect and trust Him for life.

Sparks – for boys and girls Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades

Sparks ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ. To many children in kindergarten to second grade, Sparks is the highlight of the week! They love their red vests, the exciting games and spending time with leaders and friends.

Each year, Sparks clubbers: • explore the biographies of people of the Bible from a new portion of Scripture • memorize Bible verses • complete handbook activities

The handbooks, combined with Large Group Time lessons from the WHO Do I Need to Know From the Bible series, take your child on a journey through the entire Bible!

Truth & Training – for boys and girls 3rd, 4th, & 5th grades

T&T engages third- through sixth-graders by answering their questions about God and the Bible, guiding them through this pivotal life stage to grow in Christ’s grace. Handbooks and large-group lessons deepen a child’s knowledge about God and His Word and teach how to put that knowledge into action in everyday life.

This level helps kids stay plugged into T&T as they move into the preteen years and continue growing in their relationship with Christ.

Trek – for boys and girls 6th, 7th & 8th grades

Trek is a program for Middle School students. This new program challenges students to wrestle with the three most important questions they’re asking in middle school. By allowing students to dive deep into the Scriptures and answer these questions for themselves we allow them to own their faith and discover what they believe. His Story: This study helps middle school students understand God’s story and answers the question, “Who am I?” His Love: This study focuses on Jesus and His ministry, as told through the Gospel of Luke and answers the question, “Why am I here?” His People: This study focuses on biblical community as told through the book of Acts and answers the question, “Who’s with me?”

Can my child invite a friend?

Absolutely! As long as they meet the age/grade range above, we’re always open to visitors (at no charge, unless they choose to register and become regular clubbers).
